Backspacing won't work more than one letter

I hit a button, and the backspacing will only go back one letter at a time,
and the double letters, like the t's in letter, you have to wait to get the
second letter to come up.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Accessibility Options. If the
"Use Filter Keys" box is checked, uncheck it.
