Backrounds at startup

The default backround on my XP startup is the green
rolling hills scene before my desktop loads, and then it
loads my chosen backround.

Does anyone know where to change the default one before
it boots to the same one I have after it boots?

You've set a wallpaper that doesn't use Active Desktop
AND one that does. Active Desktop replaces the default
desktop.
=========fix=========================
Open notepad and create the following
file:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_USER\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]
"Wallpaper"="C:\\windows\\dell.bmp"

Then save it as file.reg

To get the .reg extension, make sure notepad shows Save
as type: All Files.
Change the C:\\windows.... for whatever you want. Then
to activate the
file, just click on it.

[apply] button

select different background (temporary)
[apply] button

select original background
[ok] button

when u logoff screen goes to temporary
background for one second and closes.

also when u logon temporary background
appears before normal background appears.

fix might be to select same background and click ok
button 3 times.
