Backing up XP Updates

Is it possible to backup the update files for Windows XP so if I do a clean
reinstall I don't have to again download all the updates? If possible, which
folder are the files kept in?

Hi Michael,

Unless you initially downloaded the stand alone versions, the answer would
be no. While you may find some of them in the \WUTemp folder or the
\Windows\Software Distribution folder, most are deleted once the
installation is complete. Go to the update site and click on the
administrator options in order to selectively download and save the updates
you want.
