Backing up to cd burner

I can't back up from Business Visions to my cd burner.
Keep getting error message NO MEDIA IN DRIVE. Recording is
enabled and Nero software is installed. I thought this
should work like the old DirectCD but obviously it doesn't.

Hello

You need to verify that your cd-burner is working
ok, try and burn some data to see if your burner is working
correctly

Nero has a separate application called InCD for packet writing. BTW: it is
incompatible with Roxio, so don't expect to be able to read the disk on a
DirectCD machine.

I think in order to accomplish what you want to do, you
need to format the cd for packet writing first.
