backing up to CD burner

Hi

i am wondering how can i automate the process of copying
data to an area on my windows 2000 client machine and then
automate the cd burner to burn a copy of the data?

I want to be able to keep adding (multisession) the backup
sessions to the one CD. I have enough data to rewrite to
the CD twice before having to swap the CD out.

I am using Roxio easy CD creator software platinum version.

thanks

You can try this:

1) Create a mount point to your CD burner (an empty NTFS folder mounted to
your burner).
2) You will need to have DirectCD installed - if you have Easy CD Creator,
you probably have this.
3) Format a CD R using Direct CD
4) Run NTBackup - choose to backup to a file - and point the file to the
folder that redirects to your CD burner.

hth.
