Backing up Outlook 2003 pst files

Installed Outlook 2003 and copied old pst files into
system. I also crested a new 2003 pst file. When I try to
back any of them up, I keep getting this message:

"can not copy outlook1: the process can not access the
file because another process has locked a portion of the
file"

Thanks for any assistance.

P.S. The name of the pst file is Outlook1.pst

Best guess... antivirus scanning the file at the time a copy is trying to
take place or Outlook is still open at the time the copy is taking place.
