In a image application, save the image a GIF with a transparent background
to your desktop, then import the image into your current open FP web, then
insert on your page.

I am trying to do a web page using frontpage and was wondering how do you
Make sure 'View | Toolbars | Pictures' is selected. Click on the toolbar
icon 'set transparent color' and select the white area. FrontPage will
prompt you to resave the graphic in .gif format and it will look crappy. Use
an external image editor to remove the white in your graphic before
importing it into FP.

Oh how wonderful ... someone else who suggests that some of the
possibilities within FP shouldn't be used! "It looks Crappy" ..... is so
right. Here's an article I wrote not too long ago that might help: http://outfront.net/tutorials_02/adv_tech/photos.htm
