Will only allow 3.5 for back up --- I want to use a disc -
-is this possible?

MS Backup does not support CDs. It can save backups to hard drives and
could save backups to CD-RW, if the media has been formated with Roxio's
Drag to Disk (DirectCD) or Nero's INCD.

Hi Scott,

If you choose to "Browse" when you are prompted for a backup location, you
can backup to the hard drive to an *.bkf file.

In XP Home the ASR Floppy Disk does not work . It will NOT
backup to a CD. You can back up to a folder on your
hard drive then burn it to a CD. The native program in XP
will not span CD's though.

Here is how to use it;

You can cheat it some with a packet writing program like
Roxio Direct CD (comes with Easy CD Creator ) or DLA
You then use a CD ( will not Span cd's) or DVD to back up
too.
