Back-Up Problem

Using Windows 2000 Server and when doing back up I
receive a message that I have run out of available media
to complete back up. I am using 24GB tapes and this
message is coming up after only 12GB of backup is done.
Can anyone help me with this? Greatly appreciated.

Maybe you didn't activated compression on the backup if
available. Check that out, maybe it's that
