I have hundreds of personnel files I have to save . I need a free program
that I can save to a CD and be able to see after they have been Burned .
Without exporting back to Outlook . Is their such a program ?
I can save them now BUT I can not read them .

I already use this but you have to import the files back to Outlook to be
able to read the files . I need to be able to read them on the CD . Thanks .

No , Their in the .pst file format . I need a program that lets me read the
files on the CD. Thanks.

Can't you just "save as" rather than export? That gives you a copy,
burn copy to CD. Clicking file on CD should open your mail program
which will read it.

Maybe you already knew this, but the reason Outlook can't read the .pst
files from CD is that it needs access to them in read-write mode. Even
if you only want to read your emails, this is not possible from a
read-only media like CD. The only way to achieve this is to copy the
..pst files from CD to hard disk, and then reset the read-only flag
(File->Properties in Explorer).
