Can anyone tell me how I can back up my hard drive contents onto DVD disk(s)
please? I have tried to use the Windows XP backup utility, but I can't see
any option to save onto CDs or DVD's. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Windows can't natively back up directly to CD or DVD. You would have to run
a backup, then burn the backup file to CD/DVD.

steve.

You can do this:

Backup all the contents with the windows backup utility, then when its
finished burn the file to the DVD using Roxio or Nero, or you can find
shareware software on the internet.

Regards.

If your DVD came with Nero, you may have a backup utility (BackItUp). I
think Roxio also comes with something similar.
