Back Up and Synch Software?

I use Windows XP Home SP 2 and have a question about backup. Currently, I
copy and paste my "My Documents" folder to an external harddrive. I have my
Outlook PST file store here so I save my documents and my email.

Is this the best / easiest thing to do?

If this is an acceptable backup, how do I cut the time it takes? Right now I
delete the copy on the external and recopy and paste my "My Documents"
folder. Is there software that could only copy and paste that which has
changed? Would that save time? A friend recommended a program called
"Intellisync." Is this okay or are there others? Thanks!

Hi
Have a look at www.dustan.co.uk it has lots of optios like an IE
progress bar and logs etc and it's free you can edit it to fit your
needs.

I second the recommendation for Synctoy.
Great for backing up multiple dirs to different removeable disks
simultaneously.
