back-end backup

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to back-up the back-end database from the front-end?

Sure. You can compact the backend programmatically, which will allow you to
change the name. On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), is a small
Access database sample called "CompactBackEndDB.mdb" which illustrates how
to do this.

I checked it, but it backups the front-end, am I wrong, or maybe I am a
little tried now..

I have two compacting samples: CompactDatabase.mdb compacts the front end.
CompactBackEnd.mdb compacts the back end.
