Back button causes page to expire in secure sites

When I click the back button in a secure website the page
expires. Does anybody have any suggestions?

That is normal. Click Refresh should get your page back.

Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Scroll down to Security and uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk".
