The 5 stars is a user rating, not a Sofotex.com rating! And I can't see
where you can read the previous reviews. Is it possible that the 5-star
rating was actually posted by Babya....? Yet another example of the many
attempts by software authors to hijack software sites' user ratings
systems?

After reading the reviews at
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?fid=1064961024
it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case.

Come on Babya, CONFESS!!!

And while you're at it, why don't you also admit that you're really
employed as a Microsoft agent - your mission is to try to get people to
think that, after using your programs, maybe MS progs aren't so bad after
all....!!!!

I have no doubt that he is the author of the review. He is a
shameless self-promoter. My guess is that he's attempting to make
his freeware so popular that he can actually start charging for it.
I wouldn't use it if it *were* worth a crap simply because of his
behavior.

Thanks Tiger - I have been sitting fuming at Fussy's marketing
strategy - it even got me to try one of his programs (the one this
thread discussed) and it was awful.

He ignores criticism and helpful hints - remember him claiming his
programme was the equivalent of paintshop pro !

And the Babya Expo which "launched" his new programs.

Shamefaced - and irritating

And yes, i do know how to use killfilters...... maybe heading that way
now...

I've had Fussy killfiled for some time now. (S)he(it) does have one
redeeming quality so far: no sock puppets.

Can I clarify about the 5 star rating. OK, here is what the email from
Softotex said about the 5 star rating:
'Your software has been awarded 5 Star rating by our editors'

OK, here is a new download link for it:

the web page reads user rating - I have offered to the site my
opinions of your software - lets see if that brings down your rating.

BTW - most sites will tell us how many reviews, and an average rating
- you obviously posted your program on 10th Feb - ie today - and
posted one rating - yourself.

be honest, for goodness sake !!!

50 some programs, at that! Perhaps the better approach would be focus
attention on one or two programs, make them outstanding, and go from there.

The problem isn't that Babya create's programs--it's that Babya insists
other people use them.

Themsite's editors gave it a 5 star rating, according to the email.
