has anyone found a way of running a soundblaster AWE32 under windows xp?

What trouble are you having? I've run both a AWE32 and an AWE32 PnP under
WinXP and WinXP SP1a no problems at all.
 
the trouble is my AWE32 is not plug and play and XP just ignores it. Besides,
the drivers that came with it were meant for DOS and I'm afraid not compatable
with a 32bit system.
