AVI on XP - Summary Properties could not be found

Hello all,
I have a 2.7GB AVI file (uncompressed) created via softcam on WIn XP
pro. It appears I cannot play or split the file into a smaller avi due
to missing summar properties. I'm hoping someone out there can help me
figure out how 'fix' the file to make it either splitable or playable.
Seems like I could split it if I could just put the proper values in
the summar properties (and, I know the correct values).

Any suggestions out there?
