AVI has changed to Video Clip with no summary

Hi

I have noticed that any files I save as avi files are now
recognised as Video Clip in the properties, does anyone
know what has caused this. When I open properties the
file type is reading as Video Clip and the summary tab
just shows duration, no details.

Hope someone can help!!

I have the same problem, reinstalled new WMP, didn't help, just
reassigned the types back to WMP, but still no summary properties for
avi files because of the 'video clip' being the file-type.
Crossposting seemed justified , sorry if that bugs people.
