AVG8 Free and Anti-Spam

C

Charliec

I'm new to AVG (moving from Norton Internet Security - hardware router
firewall instead), and am looking for a bit of advice. One of the
things I see missing in AVG8 Free is "AntiSpam" detection. Am I
correct? If one needs or desires AntiSpam, do you have to get another
version of AVG. Also, what do most people use for AntiSpam?

Thanks

Max,

I use a program called Forte Agent. I use it for email and
Newsgroups. My ISP uses a pretty Spam filter called SpamAssassin
which does a fairly good job, but some still gets through.

Forte has a built-in bayesian spam filter

is it not working for you?
