Avast Scan Log

I've just run a boot time scan, and have previously run full scans.

However the scan log is empty. Zero. zilch. I know the boot time scan ran as I sat and wateched it, but wheher it found anything I can't tell.

Why wouldthe log be empty?

avast 17.8.2318
windows 10
Firefox 57.0.2
 
It's not the first scan I've done.

edit: jut done a 'quick scan' and it shows in the log. Wierd.
