Avast On-Access Scanner Messages...

If one were to disable those annoying messages from popping up from the Tray,
how would one disable it, without taking away from the purpose of the software
being TSR? After the VRDB is set up, what's the purpose of the little window
popping up from the Tray? I'm a "noob", so please forgive me for knowing
something that should be obvious to me.

Open the resident scanner settings (click on the taskbar icon).
Select "Standard Shield", then "Customize", then "Advanced".
Remove the check-mark for "Show detailed info...."
