Availability of fonts

I have installed Office 2000 on a laptop running under Windows XP Home
Edition. The fonts in Word do not show, the font box in the tolbar only
displays a device font. In Excel all the fonts are available. On my old
computer running Windows 98 this proplem did not exist. Your help would be
appreciated.
 
You must select as the default Windows printer a printer capable of printing
graphics (not Generic-Text Only).
