AutoUpdater Status - Could not connect to the Internet

Hi! For the last month or so, I cannot download updates to AntiSpyware. The
error message says "Warning, could not connect to the Internet!". Yet, I am
connected and was able to download newest beta version of this program
successfully, etc. This problem happens with both versions. How can I fix
this?

The same thing is happening to me with the new version. I think it has some
bugs that need addressing. It also takes forever to open.

Quite a few people are seeing this symptom today.

This message can mean a break in connectivity anywhere between your machine
and the server. For the present (meaning perhaps until Monday)--I'd assume
that this symptom is beyond your control.

I don't believe this is a bug in the new build--it has updated fine for all
the machines I've had it on several times--this is a different issue.

You are right, it probably isn't a bug, just a server issue. I
suppose I am so used to buggy software these days that paranoid personality
disease is mine.

" I guess there will be some knashing of teeth for a while" . I have exactly
the same problem with the very latest version, which I just installed today.
The old version has the same problems. It's their problem and there looks
like no way to solve this issue. I may have to purchase a commercial version
!

Best of luck "jo"

I just noticed it today but getting it on 2 computers. I think it's a server
problem.
Definitly not my not connectiong to the internet.

Will it fix itself with a new upgrade ?

I also cannot update. I am sure it is a problem as a result of yesterdays
update. I've tried removing MSAS and reinstalling but that has not cured the
problem. There is nothing at all wrong with my internet connection.

Not sure what can be done about this unless Microsoft release an updated
version of MSAS,
