Autotext in Word 2003

When trying to insert autotext PC freezes and have to Ctrl/Alt/Delete to end
task any ideas please

When trying to insert autotext PC freezes and have to Ctrl/Alt/Delete to end
task

Is this happening with just one specific AutoText, or any and all AutoText
entries?

If this is just one AutoText entry, is it stored globally, or in a specific
template?

If you hold down CTRL when starting Word, to go into Safe Mode, and try
inserting AutoText, does Word still crash?
