Is it possible to use something such as autotext in Powerpoint? If not, what
are my options to have text that is repeated frequently input into the
documents quickly?

It depends on what you're after.

Tools, Autocorrect Options, the AutoCorrect tab lets you specify pairs of text
to be replaced and text to replace it with; you could do something like:

Replace: !now
With: Now is the time for all good things to come to those who wait.

Do that then type !now and blip, there's your long text.
