How do I create the equivalent of an autonew macro in powerpoint?

I need to create a macro that runs as soon as a new powerpoint presentation
is opened. It can be done in word as a autonew macro but doesn't work in
powerpoint.

I also need to know how I can store diagrams that need to be included as
part of this macro in powerpoint much like autotext works in word.
