Autoscan unavailiable with AIW 128 Pro, MMC 7.2

#winXP, ATI AIW 128 Pro, MMC 7.2 from web.
I run the install w/out any problems but when i go to initialise the
TV config for the first time, as i go thru' the screens the 'AutoScan'
button for setting up the channels is grayed out and I cant enable it!
Any ideas?

Do you have DirectX 9.0b installed? This is a known problem with
DirectX 9.0b and PAL tuners, not just ATI but other brands as well.
Your best bet in that case is to load the last restore point prior to
installing DX9.0b and then install the ATI drivers.
