Autosave or REPLIES?

I've looked thru the message board, and I can't find this particular issue.

I've got Outlook2000 set to save mail I *originate* into my Sent Items
folder. What I'd LIKE to do is automatically save copies of REPLIES I send
to the same folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you have the "In folders other than Inbox, save replies with original
message" option set here: Tools menu > Options > Email > Advanced?

Actually, yes, I did. I've unchecked it. Should that fix the problem?
Thanks again!..

Weellllllllll .. I tested, and it didn't seem to make any difference. Let
me make sure I've stated my question properly.

1) "Fred" sends me an e-mail. By using 'rules', it shows up in my "Friends"
subfolder in my Inbox.
2) I hit REPLY, and my reply message moves to the OUTbox.
3) I hit SEND, and it goes .... BUT NO COPY OF MY REPLY REMAINS, ANYWHERE
THAT I CAN SEE. I'd like to have a copy of my reply be stored in the SENT
folder.

How can I do this?

Ignore my second response .... I had "sorted" my inbox wrong and wasn't
seeing my replys. Your suggestion did, apparently, do the trick. Thanks!

No, sorry. I need to STOP my replies from coming into my inbox. I can't
figure out how to do that.

Click Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options. Is there a
check box for "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies weith original
messages"? If so, is it checked?
