Autosave not working

L

Lloyd

The "Save autoRecovery info every so many minutes" isn't
working. Are there any known bugs with this? I've tried
changing the number of minutes to see if this works,
however, I can't seem to get the document to
automatically save itself without having to manually
choose File | Save.

If you work on a document for hours and forget to
manually save their appears to be no way to automatically
save the document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lloyd,

An AutoRecovery Save is not the same as saving your file. :)

In the event you are working on a document and Word/Windows crashes or
you experience a loss of power, etc. then the next time you start Word
you should be presented with the documents you had open so that you
can recover them as of the last AutoRecovery Save.

Otherwise you need to manually save your documents.
