Sometimes when I pause the debugging process by clicking the Break All
button, a list of variables being used and their current respective value are
displayed. And when I rest the mouse cursor on a variable name, a tootip
showing the value of that variable appear.

But sometimes neither of these appears. How can I configure my VS 2003 to
make it display these two items when debugging is paused?

Hi Xero
The tool tip you see in the debugger gets its information by calling
ToString on the object in question with no parameters.

If you want to see specific information in the MouseOver, you can override
ToString to get the formatting you like.
