Autorun

I cannot get CD to Autorun from either CD or DVD roms. I
have seen that yu got into the registry to turn it on, but
I cannot remmber where to find it to make sure it was not
turned off.

The trick is not so much to remember where this entry is
located (the human memory can hold only so and so much!)
but to devise an easy way to retrieve such entirely forgettable
details, e.g. by maintaining a file called "tips.txt". Digging in
my own tips file I find this entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
Set the value of "Autorun" to 1.
