Was wondering if there was someone out there who has experienced any thing
like this. I'm running XP Pro that I upgraded from windows 98 about a month
or so ago. XP has been acting kinds glitchy lately last week (won't
recognize my USR voice modem in ISA slot)
but that's really a side issue that I have yet to put much time into. But
to address that problem I tried a reinstall repair of XP and although that
did not fix the modem problem. I now notice that any disks in the CD that
are autorun the autorun does not execute.
The disk will turn up when put in, an hourglass will appear for a sec and
then nothing. Other than that with the CD all seems to be fine or at least I
haven't found any more problems with the CD. Any takers???
PS Checking the processes reveals nothing new runnig.!!
