Autorun not working

I have windows vista and a wd external hard drive. On the external hard
drive i have my itunes music which on my old pc running xp automatically run
when the drive was plugged in, which then enabled itunes to locate it. On
the new vista system it does not auto play, it does see the drive and if i
open the music file and click on a song the song plays in itunes. please help

The AutoRun feature or the AutoPlay feature does not work when you insert a
CD-ROM in the CD drive

You might try a Vista group where people knowledgeable about that
system could help.

Perhaps a Vista NG will be more appropriate for your question -
