Autorun.exe

When I try to install my game - FIFA04, I start the process, and after
entering my key, i get the error:
Autorun.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
the app name is autorun.exe, and the modname is ntdll.dll.
I tried copying the flat of the cd, same thing.
different cd drive - same.
New user account - same
SFC /scannow, and /purgecache
expanded a new version of the file from cd - same
ran MS Antispyware, nothing useful found
ran hijackthis, same as above
ran adaware se (overkill, i know), same as last 2

The game worked fine when I installed it 4 weeks ago, since then I had
formatted the machine.
I have other EA games, and they are fine.
I am going to try another PC and see what it says in the meantime.
Any advice in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked on the game's website for tech support, patches, user
forums, etc.? I'd look there first for help with a specific game.
