AutoPlay problems

Both my CD-Rom and DVD drives auto-play when a disc is inserted, and
until recently inserting a memory stick into a USB port or a memory card
into the card reader did so too. I have set up an action for each drive in
their properties, and run the Microsoft AutoFix tool, but the only way I
can access these drives is using Windows Explorer

Yes - my question is why don't either my memory stick or card reader autoplay
like they used to? Before they would open a window showing their contents
when inserted.
