Hi,

My Broadband ISP recently changed my Internet login to a Dial-up login
through the PPP protocol. Now everytime I have to click othe Dialup
shortcut and click "Login" to connect.

Is there a way I can automate my login, like when ever I start my PC it
automatically logs into my Internet?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Derek

right click Internet Explorer icon, select properties
<Internet Properties opens>
select Connections tab
make your dial up the default setting
select Always dial my default connection
with your settings highlighted click Settings ...
make sure your username and password are entered in the respective boxes
click the properties button
<xxxxxxxx properties opens>
Options tab
untick Prompt for name and password
untick prompt for phone number
up to you whether you want to untick "Display progress while connecting"
then
OK
OK
OK

HTH?

Thanks Steve!

But it was not logging on automatically on startup....so I put a
shortcut for the Dial-up in the Startup folder and now works great!
Thanks!!
