Automatically logging off

Is there a way to stop windows xp from automatically logging off when the
machine is unattended?

Bob,

It does not log you off. Just goes to Welcome Screen.

Hi,

Control Panel/Display/screensaver, uncheck "on resume, display welcome
screen"
Control Panel/Power options/advanced tab, uncheck "prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby"
