Automatically inserting words that I commonly use

I'm new to microsoft word 2007 .... when I used 2003 there was a function
that was very helpful. Whenever I typed a word that I commonly used it would
automatically offer the word to me so i didn't have to spell it out. Can i
do that in 2007? how do i add words for the program to automatically spell it
for me when it sees me typing it.

thank you!

AutoComplete suggestions are no longer supported for AutoText entries.

However, you can create AutoCorrect entries to accomplish the same thing.
Click Office button | Word Options. In the Proofing category, click
AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoCorrect tab, select "Replace text as you
type." Type in the word you want to replace in the "Replace" box and type in
the replacement in the "With" box. Click Add. When you are done, click OK
twice.
