Automatically copying messages to a folder on a central server

I have been asked the following question:

How can I automatically send a copy of messages from various clients to
their respective 'project folders' (as in my documents type folders) on a
server, keeping a local copy on my system.

The idea being, I gather, that all communication(s), relys as well, are
stored under a project title automatically for the record.

I thought the answer would be to create a 'rule', however on my system
(ad-hoc networked laptop) I can only copy a message to a folder within
Outlook.

How do I copy a message to an 'outside' folder?
Is it possible? and/or what am I missing?

It is possible to drag and drop the relevant messages to their respective
server folders at the end of play each day, but it would be better if it
could be automated.

I think I may have aswered my own query: Something to do with MS Exchange
server and 'Public Folders' - an area I am not familar with - but any help
would be much appreciated.

Outlook has no built-in feature to accomplish this. If you want to use Exchange public folders, you can cc any mail-enabled public folder.
