Automatically connecting to VPN

I use Windows XP at home, and connect to my office network using VPN
over DSL. I leave it connected when I am at work so that I can access
my home PC from the office as well. This works fine. My problem is that
I sometimes forget to manually start the VPN connection after rebooting
my home PC. Additionally, if I want to reboot my home PC while at the
office, the VPN is not reconnected and I lose access.

I tried adding the VPN connection to my startup directory, but of
course it only opens *after* logging into the computer. It also
requires clicking the "Connect" button. Does anyone know a way to
establish the VPN connection automatically at boot?
