automatic windows updates

When I attempt to access windows update (through the
control panel or via the internet) I get a default
message that this function only supports windows
products. I am running windows XP Home and have
reinstalled it as well yet still the problem?

Hi Walt,

Try disabling your firewall(s). This is a common problem. More on it here:
