Automatic updates help

When I go to turn on automatic updates, all the buttons
are grey, so they won't allow me to change anything. Does
anyone know how to help me?

Hi Russ,

Enable the "Automatic Update" service.
Click [Start] [Run] [Services.msc]
Locate the Automatic Update service and double-click it.
Set it to Automatic and Start (button) the service.
