It sounds like you may have "Wake-up on LAN" enabled. I presume that by
Internet Connection, you mean a broadband connection, going via a network
card?
There will be options in your BIOS to disable this. What PC/motherboard do
you have? The usual way to get into the BIOS is to press <Delete> when the
first white-on-black text appears. If you are not well versed in BIOS
content, try to resist the urge to change too many settings. ;o) Just look
for "Wake-up on LAN", and disable it.
