automatic shutdown

when i load windows xp onto my computer, after a few minutes i get a message
that its going to reboot. "nt authority windows\system32\isass.exe status
code 1073711819". what is this?

I suggest you do a virus scan. This is an infection and could be a couple
different types. Do a scan and follow the directions to remove.

Sasser worm. Go to Start>Run and type the following: shutdown /a
This will stop the rebooting so you can get your system cleaned up.
