Automatic Shared Printer Removal

Is there a setting somewhere that I can turn off the automatic registering
of shared printers. I have a computer that picks up about 20 shared
printers, and I don't want them to be 'found' ever. I have a printer that i
set up explicitly that i print to, and that should be it. any ideas?

In Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options.... in the View tab, uncheck the
box "Automatically Search for Network Folders and Printers". Alternatively,
stop sharing the printer(s).
