Automatic scheduling

does the automatic scanning/scheduling feature work if not
logged onto the machine?

I took the default scheduling of running at 2 a.m. every
day. Machine was on all night, but users logged off. I
checked the logs today (within the anti-spyware program)
and there was no apparent scan at 2 a.m.

Perhaps a manual event will need to be set up in "schedule
tasks" using commandline switches?

I need to investigate further, but there was no apparent
entry under control panel>performance and
maintenance>scheduled tasks. Only the entry within the
anti-spyware GUI itself. I'm guessing it'll work fine if
I'm still logged on at the time of the scheduled task.

I would have hoped that setting the automatic scheduling
within the anti-spyware package would have dropped a task
in the "scheduled tasks" window. Similar to my Norton
antivirus package.

Same here. I installed Microsoft AntiSpy on my notebook. Works fine. Here on
my desktop PC the System Explorer shows nothing. Only a blank window.
Also, when I select "Real-time-protection" the overview shows that
everything is active. Looks ok, but when I then check one of the three
agents (Internet, System or Application), the status is in-active. I can't
activate it. Any solution?
