Mail has an auto-save feature when composing emails. If not, mayb that's
something the programmers should be working on for their next update.
Windows Live Mail looks like an email client (as opposed to webmail). If so,
does it have a feature to auto save an email in the drafts folder while
composing it -- so you don't have to press "ctrl+s" all the time?
No. None of Microsoft's free email clients have that feature.
You can compose in Word, which does auto-save.
