I have a W2k machine with all service packs. On this
machine, in publisher, when you click save SOMETIMES, it
restarts the machine or shuts down. Any idea what
this could be ?? Thanks in adnvace.

Generally, random reboots are a result of a STOP error (aka Blue Screen of
Death). To maximize uptime, Windows 2000, XP, and 2003 automatically reboot
after a STOP error. To disable this, right click on the My Computer icon,
then choose properties. On the properties window, click the advanced tab.
After this, click Startup and Recovery and uncheck the box that says
"Automatically Reboot" and click ok. The next time this occurs, it should
display a blue STOP error. If you post the contents of this message, we may
be able to help you more.
