Automatic replication of a field from the previous record, using "F" key.

Why not just teach them to use the built-in shortcut key for this,
Ctrl-Apostrophe? (i.e.: hold down the Ctrl key, then press the ' while the
Ctrl key is down)
 
Hi!

I have a form with some string fields. I want that if the user presses "F9",
for example,
the form will automatically copy the value of the same field in the previous
record,
to the current field (the same field name, of course).

Great Idea, but for some reason, only in one of the combo boxes,
it copies the value, and moves to the next control, but doesn't update the
display.
I have no explanation for that.

Anyway, can I use F key instead of Ctrl+' ?
