Automatic name checking by first name

I used to be able to type someone's first name a space
and a few letters of their last name and Outlook 2003
would fill in the name. I had to reformat my hard drive
and reload Office 2003. Now I can only type the last
name. It will no longer check by the first name. Can
someone please help?
 
It will take a while for the autocomplete cache to be populated with
addresses you type. Usually three letters are all that's needed...so for Joe
Bloggs, typing in joe will eventually make it 'learn'...
